Ok, so I'm thinking I might have ocd about my new house in college station because honestly it's all I think about! And I don't mean just things like being excited to be living there or having an actual house vs. an apartment...but seriously thinking about it. I think about the wall decor I have and where I'm gonna put it, and how I want to get a vase with really beautiful tall fake flowers for in my bathroom and my big fancy mirror that I'm going to fix up. Ok, let me just tell you, I am SO excited about this mirror it will probably be the first thing I start on when I get home, other than playing with Sophi for probably the whole day and going to Gringos. So, my mom got my this big mirror for my room, it's probably like 2-2.5 ft wide and 5-6 ft tall, a big mirror! but no offense mom, it's frame and the painting on the mat board that frames it is absolutely horrible. So, I actually dreamed about how to fix it, haha. So....I'm going to paint the mat board around it a very pretty, soft, neutral cream, not like super light, but like like caramel-ish. And I'm going to re-frame it with a beautiful big muted-gold/dark walnut color frame. Wellllll it gets better, then I plan on buying really pretty pens, like I'm hoping to find a blue that matches my bed set and chocolate browns but not just like ballpoint pens, really pretty scrapbook pens or something and everyone special in my life can write me little notes around the canvas part! but no boyfriends allowed cause if we break up then I'll have to re-paint and stuff so only people like family and super close friends....so that way when I'm getting ready in front of my mirror, I can read a note from my dad or mom and sisters, etc.. anyways I'm super excited about my house haha :) Here's a picture of it but dont look at me cause I'm pretty sure my hair was like 5 days dirty and looking disgusting!
And I'm not just excited about the house as much as the girls I'm living with. This will be the first time that I'm moving into a place with friends that I actually know and love beforehand! My first year was pot luck at txstate, with lauren, and we all know how that turned out! And then my first year at CS with my friend kara's friends...and that was alright but not so great. And then I met these girls and I just love them! They are so great and just like me in some ways and then we are all unique in our own ways and I really think it's gonna work, I'm very excited! Their names are Kristin, Ashley, and Emily.
Kristin is a fitness finatic! She works at the rec, teaching fitness classes, so I'm excited to take her classes. She is also very high spirited and so fun, sometimes she can get crazy, but we all have our moments, she's super sweet and open for anything new so I just love that!
Ashley is a dancer, ballerina and hip hop (crazy to put those 2 together, but she makes it work) and she is fabulous with doing hair and makeup so I already told her she's in charge of making sure I'm acceptable looking before going anywhere important haha. She's so sweet and she laughs almost as much as I do so it's perfect!
Emily is also a dancer, ballet and lyrical, they are all in the dance club at school, so Ill get to go to all their performances. Emily is very precise and clean and likes to cook and bake and is super fun to be around.
We abbreviated our names and call our house KAJE for all of us haha, such nerds I already know.
What's so great is all these girls make time to study and take school seriously but also love to have a good time. They all make fun of my for my Celine Dion addiction but they are so gonna love her just as much after living with me :)

I totally empathize on the OCD thinking. Before we moved up here, I would literally be "up" at night, thinking about each room, how I wanted it done, the colors, new bedding, new furniture, how everything was arranged... then I actually got here, and my mind slowed down. Mainly because I can't afford to go get everything I want at one time, haha.
It is fun having a new place and turning it into your own. Your rooms always turn out so cute; I can't wait to see how you fix up your new place! Have fun!
